Position Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Remote (East Coast Time Zone Required)

Duration: 12 months (Potential for Extension or Conversion to FTE)

Rate Range: $165,000 - $203,000

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our digital asset team for a major gaming client. This initiative is a content marketplace that serves as a one-stop destination for discovering, buying, selling, and sharing digital assets in the gaming space. It supports content creation tools like Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, and UEFN, offering game assets, environments, VFX, audio, animations, characters, plug-ins, and more. Developers can access this tool directly within the Unreal Engine 5 Editor.

As a Full Stack Developer on this team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both frontend and backend components of our web applications. You will work on various projects, including the new Desktop App, GenAI integrations, and migrations, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop RESTful APIs using Python/Django to interact with the frontend and other services.
• Implement advanced search functionalities and analytics using OpenSearch to provide real-time insights.
• Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs for data retrieval and submission.
• Start with maintenance tasks to gain a better understanding of the applications, then transition to building new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
• Participate in regular meetings and contribute to reducing meeting frequency over time.

Required Skills & Technologies:

• Senior-level Full-Stack Python Development Experience
• Proficiency in Django
• Senior-level Experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: SQS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront
• PostgreSQL
• OpenSearch (ElasticSearch experience is also acceptable)

Preferred Skills & Technologies:

• Experience with RDS or Aurora
• Familiarity with UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite)
• Background in 3D, gaming, and e-commerce
• Terraform

Soft Skills & Team Culture:

• Ability to work EST so some overlap with partner team in France
• Initial overlap with the team required.
• Adaptability to a meeting-heavy environment initially, transitioning to more heads-down work in the afternoons.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Interview Process:

• Technical Coding interview covering Python and React
• Final Round interview with the team covering prior experience and relevance to this opportunity along with some technical questions
