As a member on the Talent Data Analytics and Insights team, the Senior Data Analyst will play a meaningful role in enabling analytics and insights to talent, HR, and business leaders. The Role
This Senior Data Analyst will be responsible to support the delivery and execution of accurate, high-quality candidate, associate and operational data analytics to support our HR Talent organization. Using data query tools to retrieve, define, and model candidate and processing data, the Senior Data Analyst will also help implement workforce data-related initiatives, all while ensuring that client needs are met in the most efficient and scalable manner.
We are looking for a data guru who will build, maintain, and organize the systems that collect, store, and make talent data accessible for analysis. Your ability to transform large datasets into usable information for the Talent Data Analytics & Insights team to interpret will be instrumental for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development and Learning. By ensuring our data is reliable, accurate, and relevant, you will support various workforce initiatives in the most efficient and scalable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Snowflake Data Migration: Support the Snowflake Data Migration Initiative and help re-map our existing Alteryx workflows
- Build data infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain data management systems pipelines
- Data Wrangling: Build, evaluate, maintain, and improve Alteryx workflows to produce high-quality data analysis and reporting to support various business decisions
- Collaboration: Work with data analysts to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Create models: Create models to identify talent trends and automate processes and tasks
- Optimize data architecture: Continuously optimize data architecture to support the company's evolving talent data needs
- Reporting and Analysis: Use a variety of systems and approaches to perform data analysis and produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting for effective business decisions; summarize and communicate trends, patterns, and predictive information found within talent acquisition data using various analytical and statistical techniques
- Process Improvement: Make recommendations for process improvements and implement automated solutions that will result in more efficient collection, analysis, and reporting of information, creating more capacity for strategic analysis and decision support
- Ad-hoc Requests: Contribute to prioritized ad-hoc data requests and work backlog
- Documentation: Understand and document current state data definitions, scope, and process flows associated with our platform
- Data Governance: Plan and implement data catalog and data quality-related activities using a combination of vendor and in-house tools
- Relationship Building: Build trust and maintain solid working relationships with key business partners. Seek opportunities to provide valuable insights and look for continuous improvement and feedback from business partners
- Domain Expertise: Become a domain expert on data content, scope, and business process flows related to our platform
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, plus at least 3 years in data analytics and governance
- Business Intelligence Tools: Fluency with Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI and a penchant for report and dashboard design
- Coding: Expertise with SQL and Python
- Databases: Experience with Snowflake, Azure, and SQL Server
- Enterprise Resource Planning: Exposure to Workday, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Project Management: Proven track record with running multiple priorities at the same time, are flexible when needed, and possess superb attention to detail
- Communication: Excellent communicator that uses your interpersonal, analytical, and storytelling skills to influence and convey sophisticated ideas
