Acentech, a multi-disciplinary design consulting firm specializing in Security, Audiovisual and Telecommunications system design, Acoustics, and Vibration, is hiring a senior-level Security consultant. The position can be located in our Cambridge, MA, Los Angeles, CA, Philadelphia, PA or our Virginia office. This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate has:
- 5-7 years minimum experience designing ICT and Physical Security Systems,
- Consulting, system design and documentation, and project management experience,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and clients,
- Strong project-related client-facing experience,
- Proactive instincts (i.e. is self-motivated), with an ability to work both in teams and independently, on multiple projects simultaneously,
- BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification preferred,
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification preferred,
- CPTED certification a plus.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Proficient with Revit and Bluebeam software,
- Collaborate with CAD department staff on projects, and assist with the company’s drafting standards efforts,
- Participate in marketing and business development activities, including attending networking events in areas of your professional interest, preparing presentations for non-peer conferences aimed at developing Acentech business, and authoring blog posts or other articles intended for business development-oriented publications.
