Our B2C client is looking for a Senior Art Director to join their growing team!
High-level logistics of this direct-hire role:
- Location: onsite in a hybrid capacity (3 days/week onsite in the South Metro)
- Duration: direct hire / full-time
- Hours/week: 40
- Report to: Creative Director
- Work alongside: their in-house creative / brand team

In this role, as Sr. Art Director, you will be responsible for leading all print initiatives for their company! Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead the evolution of the company's visual identity through modern and strategic designs
- Define brand standards, style guides and design systems and ensure all deliverables are within standards set.
- Oversee all catalog and print communications to ensure cohesive, on-brand execution across all touchpoints
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on project goals, contribute innovative ideas that truly elevate their brand.
- Oversee all photo shoots to ensure creative vision and brand consistency on-set
- Source and style props to support compelling visual storytelling
- Produce editorial photography that feels authentic, versatile across channels (can be used across print/digital/video)
- Serve as a member of the creative leadership team and manage a team of designers, both in-house and freelance talent
- Lead projects and guide teams to ensure print projects stay on schedule; manage your team's schedules and work directly with print vendors
- Leverage AI to automate workflows, enhance augmentation and customize print outputs
- Implement solutions such as creating templates, automation, and robust design-systems-to-streamline production
- Maintain a clean and organized file archive to support faster and more efficient workflows
- Standardize project briefs and deliverables to drive clarity and productivity across teams
- Integrate copy and proofreading tools
- Work closely with Project Managers to optimize coordination between design, copywriting and production
The Senior Art Director must have:
- High volume catalog experience in a people management role. You will be overseeing 30 catalogs a year that average 68 pages each, plus print ads and direct mail.
- A portfolio showcasing a large amount of print-specific design; modern layout; editorial-inspired visual storytelling; can bring a contemporary aesthetic to every deliverable; modern + editorial design.
- 8+ years' experience in design and art direction
- 5+ years' experience in photo art direction specifically (i.e. short list planning, mood boards, prop styling and on set direction)
- Experience managing and mentoring Graphic Designers
- Deep understanding of the print production process
- Strong knowledge of 4 color separation and the print production process

- Strong photo retouching capabilities
- Proven experience in niche markets or high-end luxury products
- Experience with project management systems - ideally Monday.com
