National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst to work on our Gas Demand Response (DR) programs in New York. This hybrid position can be based in Brooklyn, Syracuse or Albany, NY.
The Role
The Demand Response team aims to reduce peak electric and gas demand and create more reliable and sustainable energy networks.
What You'll Do
* Assist Program Managers in the day-to-day operations of the Gas DR programs
* Support aspects of the Gas DR program enrollment process, from supporting sales, tracking customer applications, and coordinating metering installation
* Coordinate customer feedback on programs, including in-season and post season customer feedback to support future program changes
* Support program evaluation through ad-hoc analysis including customer interval data analysis.
* Manage vendor Purchase Orders and invoicing
* Track and analyze program costs and related reporting, including program Benefit-Cost models and accrual tracking.
* Coordinate common tasks across Electric and Gas DR Program teams to ensure efficiency.
About You
* Bachelor's degree with concentration in engineering, sustainability, energy, or business-related technical discipline required
* 3+ years of analytical experience in a similar function, preferably in the energy sector
* Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market conditions into program changes, balancing the value of different solutions; understands how best to utilize them and drive greater performance preferred
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required
* Experience with advanced data analysis software programs (Python, Access, PowerBI, etc.) preferred
* Valid driver's license required

$114,000 - $134,000 a year in Brooklyn, NY
$94,000 - $111,000 a year in Syracuse or Albany, NY
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
