As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the values of reliability, agility, and integrity in all interactions.

Job Schedule:
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients, following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
- California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
