As a Security Professional - Aero Patrol - DoD Cleared in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .
As an unarmed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team, demonstrating reliability, and acting with integrity at all times. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
- Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to site protocols.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
