As an unarmed patrol officer in a leading technology environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with customer service needs, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- California Security Guard Card is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
