As a Security Officer - Industrial Site in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .
As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Job Schedule:
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the facility.
- Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions from management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security experience is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- California Security Guard Card is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
