In the manufacturing and industrial location, our Access Control professionals play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. They conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. With a focus on providing exceptional customer service, they engage with individuals in a professional manner, utilizing their experience with access control systems and badge management. Proficiency in using computers or tablets is preferred, enhancing their ability to manage access efficiently. Pay Rate: $13.69 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
- Assist in emergency response activities as needed.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and activities within the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
