As a Patrol Officer in the Tech/Media/Telecom sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain prior to assignment, Level 1 Guard Card Training Certificates (Powers to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force)
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
