Responsibilities

** Standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm EST or CST **

SCA Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Operations (RCO) Systems and Integration Manager to facilitate the delivery of multiple, concurrent RCO projects as part of the overall Merger and Acquisition lifecycle. This role will manage the onboarding of recently partnered center's revenue cycle operations to SCA Health, implementation of patient accounting systems, and integration of center revenue cycle functions to SCA's center business offices. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; able to manage project tasks, scope change, and schedules to keep projects on track
  • Partner with RCO Project Manager to build and manage the RCO Integration schedule and provide milestones to the larger business integration schedule.
  • Identify and document RCO requirements for integration activities including implementation of patient accounting systems and billing services.
  • Prepare assigned project resources with necessary project-related information, ensuring proper understanding of project requirements, roles & responsibilities, work processes, and success criteria.
  • Communicate with key lane leaders across the organization to ensure seamless integration.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues.
  • Work with various team members to resolve project and process issues in a timely manner and document any issues.
  • Track project performance, to include, but not limited to, cost, schedule and scope.
  • Provide status reports and briefings, as needed, to stakeholders, including executive leadership, on project status.
  • Conduct meetings with various stakeholders, SMEs, and vendors to manage scope, establish expectations, and ensure successful performance of project.
  • Collaborate with IT resources, both internal and external, to implement interfaces with the patient accounting system.
  • Lead assigned projects to a successful completion within appropriate time frame.
  • Assist with developing new processes and tools that improve the performance and effectiveness of the project management delivery.
  • Participate in discovery meetings through project post-mortems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years' experience managing projects that include both technical and revenue cycle components
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience in project management software tools (preferred SmartSheet)
  • Understanding of revenue cycle management software (preferred HST and/or Epic), healthcare billing systems, and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using Service Now is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic IT Infrastructure and HL7 interfaces.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and manage; ability to escalate when appropriate.
