Who We Are:

The Technology Fusion section specializes in innovating the next generation of Electronic Warfare to benefit warfighters around the globe. An alternate work location for this role would be in Warner Robins, GA.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Successfully contribute to the design and implementation of FPGA-based solutions for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Apply innovative thinking and problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize FPGA implementations.
  • Develop comprehensive testbenches and verification environments for FPGA designs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of FPGA designs with other system components, supporting overall project success.
  • Apply digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms to analyze advanced radio frequency (RF) signal characteristics using high rate analog to digital converters.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms on FPGA platforms to address critical challenges in Electronic Warfare.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Develop and debug HDL (Verilog/VHDL) code based on project requirements per design specifications.
  • Develop and run simulations to verify the functionality and performance of FPGA designs.
  • Use testbenches to validate code against expected outputs and performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the design process, code changes, and testing procedures.
  • Perform in-lab radio frequency integration tests of FPGA components with other modules in the system.
  • Attend formal design review meetings to present FPGA designs and receive feedback.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years: Developed and debug FPGA code in HDL languages. Evaluating and testing FPGA code on devices to ensure proper performance was met. Prefer Xilinx Versal experience.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency digital signal processing, Xilinx Versal, RFSoC preferred.
  • RADAR or Electronic Warfare experience preferred.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
