Volt is hiring a Quality Manager in Pflugerville, TX.
In this role you will be responsible for performing the duties of the Quality Manager at all levels to ensure customer expectations and quality standards are met for the Quality Department.

As a Quality Manager, you will:

Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization's products
Attends customer required meeting and provides technical issue resolution on SCARS or other high level failures.
Reviews, understands, interprets and communicates; corporate vision, mission, strategies and goals to all departmental personnel
Ensures quality standards are met through use of the current certified Quality Management System.
Participates in staff meetings, all employee meetings, quality meetings, production meetings and other meetings to promote good communication throughout the company.
Responsible for ensuring MRB, RMA and calibration processes are current and that all equipment used directly on measuring and recording customer requirements are calibrated and documented in the system.

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

Four (4) year technical degree or equivalent experience.
5-10 years of successful related management experience.
Internal and external auditing experience.
Functional knowledge of ASME Y14.5m Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing Standards
Ability to create and work in a team environment
Basic knowledge of clean room standards
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering team, production team, and operational staff
Must be able to apply root cause problem solving techniques using 5-Why, 8-D's and like approaches

Salary: $75000.00-$95000.00 annually
