Overview

The QC Lab Tech I will report directly to QC Supervisor or QC Manager. The QC Lab Tech I is responsible for performing HF and CE Membrane, Water, LAL testing and EM monitoring according to Repligen specifications as scheduled on daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples as required per applicable instructions.
• Performs samples for testing fiber qualification.
• Performs visual inspection and dimensional analysis using vision system.
• Sample testing for fiber characteristics such as performance using various testing equipment (Measurement equipment, refractometer, spectrophotometer).
• Preparation of chemical solutions for testing.
• Routine calibration on some equipment as needed.
• Follow GDP and applicable Repligen quality requirements.
• Records test data in excel spreadsheet and analyze against specifications.
• Reports nonconforming results to supervisor in timely manner.
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment, instruments, and inventory.
• Perform Environmental monitoring of clean room particle count and water testing.
• Perform Endotoxin testing of water and modules as required per specifications.

Qualifications

• 1 -2 years of Laboratory or manufacturing work experience preferred, within a controlled Quality environment.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and time management.
• Ability to communicate effectively, especially within a team environment.
• Minimum High School diploma required
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent QMS standards is preferred

• Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required.

The estimated hourly rate range for this role, based in the United States of America is $21-26.
