Our agency client is looking for a proactive Project Manager to support their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing branding and brand identity projects, as well as a proven ability to work closely with clients, foster strong relationships, and navigate complex projects with large corporations. This role demands leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to ensure seamless project delivery from inception to completion. This role is hybrid preferred. Remote if not in Portland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and oversee end-to-end project management of branding and brand identity initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and providing regular updates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, strategists, and copywriters, to coordinate project deliverables and timelines.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation while ensuring milestones are met.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of creativity and execution, reviewing deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives.
- Packaging Projects: Support packaging design initiatives when required, leveraging knowledge of branding to enhance product impact.
- Corporate Experience: Navigate the complexities of working with large corporate clients, adapting strategies to meet their specific demands.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Must have worked in a creative agency, 5+ years of project management experience.
- Client-Facing Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships effectively and provide outstanding service.
- Branding Expertise: Proven experience leading branding and brand identity projects; packaging experience is a plus.
- Corporate Acumen: Familiarity with the nuances of working with large corporations; flexibility for medium-sized corporations is acceptable.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
- Software: Basecamp, Slack, Google Workspace, Workamajig
