REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • 8+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on large-scale, cross-functional programs.
  • Proven experience standing up and leading large programs in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ideally within technology, finance, or other complex industries.
  • Experience with financial management, including budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Experience with change management processes and methodologies.

The Ideal Qualifications
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in project and program management tools, especially Microsoft Project (desktop & web), Microsoft Planner & Jira Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Awareness of / familiarity with the Smartsheet and Clarity PPM platforms and the capabilities they support
  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification is preferred.

Job Description:

  • Join our dynamic team as a Senior Program Manager - Corporate Technology Strategy, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our technology strategy by leading the Corporate Functions PMO Technology Enablement program.
  • As a key collaborator, you may also help lead other complex, high-impact programs across the organization.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams and managing multiple, large-scale initiatives from concept to completion.

The immediate opportunity is providing program management, stakeholder management and oversight for a complex initiative involving multiple projects aimed at migrating project management capabilities away from the Smartsheet platform to new streamlined capabilities in MS Project, MS Planner and Clarity PPM. Additional non-project management capabilities will be migrated to other platforms as part of this effort.

The Impact:
  • Program Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end program execution, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strategic Planning: Define program objectives, scope, and deliverables, and create detailed roadmaps for successful implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of program goals and progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various teams, including product management, engineering, operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and execution of program activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to program success, proactively addressing issues that may impact timelines, scope, or quality.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure proper allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and tools, to support program execution.
  • Program Governance: Establish and maintain program governance processes, including regular status reporting, steering committees, and escalation procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on program performance, including progress against milestones, budget adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Adjust plans as needed to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change management initiatives associated with program implementations, ensuring successful adoption by all stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies.
