Job Description:
Title: Project Coordinator III
Pay: $60+/hour
Location: ONSITE in New York City
Targeted Start: Late July-Early August 2025
Duration: 12 month contract with potential for extension
Overview:
The Project Coordinator will support the clients Reality Labs team with budgets and contracts management, project management, vendor supply chain management, research study coordination, and hardware inventory management and distribution.
This role centers on two themes of work:
- Managing contracting and logistics with external vendors, researchers and related institutions
- Managing internal research projects logistics, including study coordination and prototype distribution
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Split between 2 areas: hardware and research science. Someone who can support testing, repacking and triaging the devices. Troubleshooting and physically repacking the devices and keeping the records of the devices, supporting another manager in CA by doing budgeting and partnering with universities.
Qualifications:
- Experience with research/academic environments
- 3+ years of experience managing budgets and contracts
- 2+ years experience managing vendors and external suppliers
- Excellent computer skills and proficient with spreadsheets (G Suite, Excel)
- Experience with vendor supply chain management and inventory tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive, and resourceful
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with team members from a variety of different backgrounds (scientists, engineers, program managers, supply chain, finance).
- Comfortable working in a command line interface, and troubleshooting Mac & Windows computers and iOS & Android mobile devices.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field, or Associate’s Degree and 3+ years equivalent related experience
