Joining our Program Finance team means you are the backbone behind managing all the financial aspects for multiple contracts and programs that help keep nations safe. This position will be conducted in a Hybrid work format, with the selected individual splitting their time between the Endicott, NY site and remote. This role will also be aligned with our 9/80 schedule, in which we have every other Friday off (44 hours on the 'long' week of 2 week pay period, and 36 hours on the 'short' week, with Friday off on the short week). The hybrid split in this case, is 3 days in-office, 2 days remote during the 'long' weeks, and 2 days in-office, 2 days remote during the 'short' weeks.

BAE Systems is seeking a Program Control Analyst II with analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Project to join the Program Finance team. You will provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution. In this job, you will:

Forecast and control actual costs & schedules of business programs using Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Utilize Microsoft Project; develop and maintain program schedules
Prepares program budgets and schedules, and performs and assist in financial analysis for the entire program, to include variance analysis, quarterly estimates to complete, and schedule risk assessments
Become an integral part of program teams and support the overall program finance initiatives
Ability to perform critical analysis of program performance and communicate to Program leadership
Become familiar with the various technical aspects of the program for the purpose of schedule development.
Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders across various business areas

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related degree / equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills

Pursuant to a specific US Government contract, selected individual must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Analytical and problem solving skills- Be able to troubleshoot discrepancies
Understand forecasting and trend analysis
Capability to communicate and present financial data to other functions and leadership
Knowledge of Oracle and Cobra tools a plus
Experience with Microsoft project, schedule planning a plus
Experience with Power BI

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
