Are you an MBA candidate focused on developing products and services to support a more sustainable future? Can you connect the worlds of technology, finance, and regulations to tell unified stories? Are you effective communicating across all tiers of a complex organization, from product developers to executive decision makers?

We’re looking for a product portfolio management intern to support the planning and execution of a roadmap of new offerings serving the utility industry. E Source provides predictive data science, research and advisory, and consulting services to help our clients make decisions that benefit their customers, their bottom line, and our planet. This internship will support our research and advisory division, focusing on the next generation of data-backed research tools and how we deliver them.

How you'll help

• Build one or more business cases for potential new products and services
• Research and assess the risk of competitive offerings already in the market
• Support development of an investment roadmap required to deliver a new product to market
• Support comparison and prioritization of multiple new product opportunities
• At the end of this internship, we will ask the candidate to present one or more business cases to senior leadership

What will make you a good fit

• Experience building product financial models is a required qualification
• Experience building, comparing, and presenting business cases for professional services
• Experience in agile or gated product development processes
• Background in data science, data analysis, or market research is a plus
• Working knowledge of the internal operations of the utility industry would be a great bonus but is not required
