Our commercial printing client in Shakopee, MN, is seeking an experienced Print Production Artist to join their team, 40 hours per week, onsite, for at least the next 6 months.
Print Production Artist Responsibilities:
-Prepare and review files for print production, ensuring accuracy and quality. Perform color corrections, image retouching, and layout adjustments.
-Ensure all files are correctly set up in CMYK color mode for optimal print results.
-Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and technical drawings for print projects.
-Collaborate with the structural design team to develop prototypes and ensure designs meet specifications.
-Support the structural designers to help develop prototypes for print projects, including packaging, displays, and other printed materials.
-Test and refine prototypes to ensure they meet quality standards and client requirements.
Print Production Artist Requirements:
-Proven experience in prepress work, CAD design, and prototyping.
-Experience with POP, retail structures.
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
-Familiarity with CAD software and technical drawings for print projects.
-Strong understanding of CMYK color mode and dielines.
-Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
-Effective communication and collaboration skills.
