Gaming Copywriter

Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Copywriter to join our gaming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content that captivates our audience and enhances our brand's storytelling in the gaming industry. This is a 6-month, 40 hours per week contract role. Eligible candidates will need to be onsite one day per week in the Seattle offices.

Key Responsibilities

Write across a wide range of formats from broadcast headlines to long-form blog posts
Translate complex or dry topics into fun, engaging, and on-brand copy
Support messaging for upcoming initiatives, highlighting differentiators from our brand and tactical details
Collaborate with the creative team in weekly working sessions or brainstorms
Help define and evolve the brand voice across platforms and audiences

Qualifications

5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally with brand storytelling range
A portfolio that shows voice versatility and the ability to make technical content feel playful and human
Deep awareness of gaming culture
Experience writing for multiple platforms (web, social, email, blog, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt tone across genres and audiences

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
