Parts Manager

Location: Myrtle Beach Chevrolet Cadillac
Salary: $100,000 per year
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Alternating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department at Myrtle Beach Chevrolet Cadillac. The Parts Manager will oversee all aspects of parts inventory, procurement, and distribution, ensuring efficient operations, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a deep understanding of parts management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the parts department.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely restocking of parts.
• Develop and implement procedures to maintain inventory accuracy and optimize stock turnover.
• Lead and supervise a team of parts staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with service and sales departments to ensure parts are available for all necessary repairs and sales.
• Monitor department performance and financials, ensuring profit targets are met.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues related to parts quickly and efficiently.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and new automotive technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role in an automotive setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and practices.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Solid understanding of automotive parts and repair processes.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
