We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented part time, remote Social Media Specialist to join our financial client’s team and elevate the online presence of their weekly podcast. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in transforming weekly episodes into engaging promotional content and visually appealing assets to boost their reach and listener engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Podcast Clip Creation: Produce compelling 60-90 second video clips from our weekly podcast episodes, optimized for sharing across various social media platforms. These clips will be key in driving engagement and attracting new listeners.
• Thumbnail Design: Design unique, creative, and brand-aligned YouTube cover images (thumbnails) for each podcast episode. These thumbnails should be fun and reflective of the episode’s content to capture audience interest.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in video editing, specifically creating short-form promotional content.
• Strong graphic design skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
• Ability to translate audio content into engaging visual narratives.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and best practices for content distribution.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for podcasts and an understanding of how to effectively promote them.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
