Bellefonte Borough is seeking applicants for the following position:

Part time Public Works Employee: This position requires the employee to perform various tasks related to Public Works including Street Department, Water Department, and Refuse Department duties.

This part-time position is in an outdoor environment and the candidate selected will be exposed to varied elements of heat, cold, rain; and snow; exposure to loud noise and vibration. The work schedule will vary depending on which public works area you are working in. This position requires physical effort at frequent intervals and the employee must be able to lift up to 90 pounds without assistance; the employee must be able to continuously bend, lift, stoop, climb, and reach to perform the essential functions of the position. Interested candidates must possess a minimum High school diploma or the equivalent and are required and hold a Pennsylvania Driver's License; a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License is Preferred. Experience working with equipment a plus.
