Paraprofessional (20262027 School Year)
ESU 7 is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional for the 20262027 school year. This position involves working directly with students with disabilities ranging from cognitive to behavioral needs, while supporting teachers and staff in creating a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities include assisting students with daily classroom activities, providing academic and behavioral support, encouraging student participation, and helping maintain a safe and structured environment.
Candidates should be compassionate, dependable, patient, and able to adapt to the varying needs of students throughout the school day.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is helpful, but not required
