Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Assembler in Denton, Texas.
As an Electrical Assembler you will:
- Identify electrical components physically and by drawing interpretation
- Capable of using hand and power tools
- Panel fabrication
- Offer new ideas and methods to achieve Continual Improvement
- Ensure tools in workstation are maintained and functional
- Package and prepare completed orders for shipment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good background in electrical schematic reading, component layout, wiring methods, electrical machine assembly, trouble shooting and problem solving
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Part of a self-directed work force requiring minimal supervision, must have good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Be safety conscious, dependable, and contribute to our positive environment and culture
- Ability to analyze and improve processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Enjoy troubleshooting and have a strong sense of follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Takes pride in work
- Knowledge of UL508, NEMA electrical standards, and National Electric Code a plus.
