Title:PalletizerMachine Operator
Location:Nampa, ID
This position is for C shift, Thursday-Saturday and E/O Wednesday, 7am- 7pm.
Job Summary:
AsaPalletizerMachine Operator for Materne NorthAmerica,you willbe responsible forthe operation and monitoring of thepalletizingmachineandassistingthe packaging operatoron ourCase PackerMachinewhen neededforthe end ofour manufacturing process.
Position Responsibilities:
-
Operatehigh-speed palletizingequipment through touchscreen/HMI in a productionenvironment
-
Reset robotic arm positions after line shut down
-
Loadmaterials intopalletizingmachine
-
Set machine to increase/decreasenumber ofcasesselected fordifferent sizeformats
-
Observe/inspectmaterials toidentifycontamination, foreignmaterials,uniformityand quality
-
Operate industrial carts, power hand carts, andforklifts
-
Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipment
-
Cleanpalletizing area and sanitize equipment
-
Complete daily paperwork and reports
-
Clearly communicatemachineissues to teammembers,both upstream and downstream
-
Assistwith rework when neededon our Case Packer Machine
-
May berequiredto hand stack cases
-
Mustbe able to work a minimum of 12 hours
Physical Requirements:
-
Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12hours)
-
Must be able tolift upto 40lbs.
Education:
-
High School diploma or GED equivalentpreferred
-
Technical / Trade School preferred
Experience:
-
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environmentis preferred
-
Priorexperience working in the food industry ispreferred
Knowledge/Skills:
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
-
Mechanical aptitude
-
Computer skills(data entry & experience with an ERP system in aproduction environment preferred)
-
Basic math skills, includingcompetency with weights and measures(must be able totake/recordmeasurementsandunderstand tareweight)

Effectively work with others as a team
