Packaging Creative Production Project Manager - CPG
Full Job Description
Our client, one of the largest CPG companies in their space, is seeking a hands-on freelance Creative Production Project Manager to join their team.
Details
- Duration: Ongoing freelance
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Location: Onsite in Montvale, NJ, Monday-Thursday
- Remote Work: Work-from-home every other Friday

Responsibilities
- Manage creative projects and production from kickoff through completion
- Act as the central liaison among the creative team, project management, and internal/external partners
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of project timelines, resource management, and deliverables
- Collaborate with creative directors and marketing teams to secure necessary resources
- Maintain and track project schedules, reviews, and milestones
- Evaluate completed projects to identify learnings and improve future workflows
- Handle vendor coding and invoicing related to pre-production and creative development
- Lead daily project execution and communication with the client
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in project management, ideally in CPG, beauty, or creative studio settings
- Strong understanding of packaging, display, and creative production processes
- Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills for working across teams and with external partners
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Eskow or Asana
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and animated PDF workflows
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint abilities
- Experience managing vendor communication and proofing processes
- Knowledge of package and P.O.P. production standards
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, shifting environment
- Enthusiastic, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
