Job Description / Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and developing complex database and data integration (ETL) code for Customer Relationship View (CRV) application and its databases. Leads and/or performs analysis of CRV business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign database solutions.
Develops complex PL/SQL Procedure, packages, Functions, Triggers, View and Materialized views
Develops logical partition table design.
Leads and/or performs data modeling, simulations and analysis efforts for CRV database development
Performance tunes existing solution and assists with Production support in identifying bottlenecks and issues in current deployed solutions.
Develops complex ETL code to interface Oracle with other database like SQL Server and text files.
Builds framework for ETL process.
Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participates in overall systems testing.
Provides application support for application/SOR data or database code/server related issues. Provides technical support for nightly batch and ETL processes through periodic rotation of such responsibility among all team members.
Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
As an escalation point for CRV application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for CRV database and servers and participates in updating and testing of the business continuation.
This role will partner with the business team to produce Functional System Design Documents for database projects that requires one and will facilitate meetings to gather information to document software requirements and design and support the QA team in their testing activities.
Minimum Qualification:
4+ years hands on Oracle database and hands on experience in Oracle 19c database design and development experience including advanced SQL and PL-SQL development
2+ Years of experience in designing development and implementation of ETL, Data Modeling and Data Migration.
1+ years experience administering Oracle databases
Have knowledge on real time replication.
Strong experience in translating AWR/ADDM reports for optimization purpose.
Have strong experience in Database catalogs.
Knowledge in developing database solutions using Optimized SQL and tuning existing SQLs
Knowledge on Oracle Table partitioning.
Experience with data management, versioning of data.
Desired Skills
Leading small application development team.
Experience following Agile methodology
Application development experience in an Oracle and Informatica ETL environment
Database optimization experience with Oracle DBMS and experience using database-monitoring tools OEM.
Knowledge on Tuning using SQLT.
Working on interfacing Oracle database with other types of database.
Knowledge on replication.
Knowledge on translating awr report from Oracle OEM.
Financial Services experience
Working experience in Collections, Varray, objects and PL/SQL tables, Ref Cursors, Database jobs, bulk collection and bulk exception handling.
Understanding of Oracle RAC environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner, lead working groups, negotiate and create consensus
Experience with very large databases and/or data warehousing
Go getter and flexible, works with minimum supervision
