Full Time - Operations Manager

The purpose of the position of Operations Manager is to maintain a staff of RSS ensuring RSS are capable of doing their jobs. This is achieved by monitoring their behavior and interaction with clients. Operations Manager must also keep a pulse on the lives of RSS outside of the workplace, ensuring they are living up to and/or working on spiritual principles. This ensures a level of transparency when RSS are caring for clients. The Operations Manager will privately redirect RSS when they fall short, including progressive discipline when appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • In depth knowledge of each position, department, and company, including, but not limited to, their purpose, primary function, role with the organization and operating procedures and standards
  • Oversees day-to-day operations on a company level for the treatment center and sober living facilities
  • Assists with long term goals and planning to support the initiative of operational excellence
  • Creates and utilizes a method to measure performance and progress towards the Organizations established goals and strategic plan
  • Develops, monitors, and administers processes and procedures to maintain efficiency and quality, and supports the goals and strategic plan
  • Evaluates all operational processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and standardize all aspects of operations.
  • Provides oversight and guidance for all operations
  • Formulate training and performance standards to maximize the client experience
  • Creates and maintains management objectives and develops internal controls to ensure accountability
  • Assists the leaders of each department with matters of client concerns or personnel concerns
  • The ability to effectively make decisions to support the organizational goals and strategic plans
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with members of all levels of the organization
  • Assist with dispute resolutions and problem solving, as needed
  • Assist with corrective action plans and improvement plans, as needed
  • Be familiar with the staff of each department to better assist with personnel matters
  • Remain up to date on all compliance guidelines and regulations and ensures all operations are carried out in accordance
  • Working closely with other departments including Billing, Admissions, and Human Resources
  • Must meet pre-employment and maintain all applicable state, national, and job-related guidelines for reference checking, background screening,10 panel urine drug screening, health screening, DMV (if applicable), insurance (if applicable), and license/credential verifications
  • Assist with performance evaluations

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or culinary degree preferred
  • 1-3 years; training or related field.
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Required Background Check/Screening
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers
  • Satisfactory CORI check/OIG and Pre-employment Drug Screen
  • Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • If in personal recovery, a minimum of 2 years clean and sober.
  • Proven record of customer service skills
  • Strategic thinker with effective planning skills
  • Exhibits a supportive and collaborative leadership style
  • Exceptional written, verbal and listening skills
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, making sound decisions, completing tasks in a timely manner, delegating, and following up on tasks
  • Models' professionalism, collaborative efforts, and teamwork.
  • Exhibits good time management skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as position and events require
  • Demonstrated relationship building and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure expectations are consistently exceeded; ability to build and maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
