Our agency client based in Chicago is seeking a REMOTE Out-of-Home (OOH) Media Planner. This role is anticipated to be 30-40 hours per week and set to start in mid-July and end in October, with the potential to extend.
This is a behind-the-scenes, hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented and experienced Media Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects in motion. You'll be responsible for planning and executing OOH campaigns across various verticals, with a strong focus on healthcare.
OOH Media Planner Responsibilities:
- Interpret media briefs and translate them into actionable OOH plans
- Plan and place OOH media buys using tools like Due Media, Pop Tracker, GeoPath, and Ocean Media
- Execute RFPs and manage vendor communications
- Utilize platforms such as Prisma and MediaOcean for campaign management
- Coordinate timing and logistics for campaigns running JulyOctober
- Identify and recommend OOH executions (e.g., billboards, transit, grocery, experiential) in specific markets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with campaign goals and timelines
- Support planning for AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) campaigns in the healthcare space
OOH Media Planner Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in OOH media planning and buying
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Experience with healthcare clients is a plus
- Prior experience at a holding company or media agency is highly desirable
- Must be available during standard business hours (ET or CT preferred)
