The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Materials Management Unit is seeking an Office Clerk to fill a unique position in a dynamic on-the-job training work environment for its Inventory Services Office. The selected candidate will perform physical inventories at Branch facilities across the state using manual and automated systems. During the inventory training process, the successful candidate will be assigned additional tracking and reporting functions using MS Excel. State vehicles will be used for in-state travel. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range: $46,330 - $58,951/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.

New employees begin at the minimum.  The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING 

One year of related clerical experience involving operation of personal computer or data entry terminal; may be required to produce typewritten material at a rate of 40 wpm.
