Position: Mobile QA Tester

Location: New York City - 3 days onsite/2 days remote

Duration: 12-18 months contract

Pay Rate Range: $60.42/hr W2 MAX

Requirements:

  1. Manual testing – updating test scripts – REALLY good documentation
  2. Automation testing – Appium and UIPath
  3. Jira and confluence

Nice to have:

  • Mobile testing (ios mostly) – BIG plus
  • M365 mobile testing experience
  • Jenkins
  • CICD


Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

Microsoft 365 Mobile App QA Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Microsoft 365 mobile applications. This role involves working closely with development and product teams to identify testing requirements, automate test cases, and ensure seamless functionality across various devices and platforms.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Build, maintain and update automation frameworks and tools to accommodate app updates and new features.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Microsoft 365 mobile applications specifically on iOS.
  • Design test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and requirements.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Perform manual testing as needed for exploratory testing and validation of automation.
  • Track, report, and verify defect fixes, ensuring high-quality releases.
  • Monitor and improve automation coverage and performance.
  • Stay updated on mobile testing best practices, tools, and industry trends.
