We are currently looking for a Merchandise Distributor to join the Fossil Planning team. This candidate will be responsible for merchandise allocation for our Outlet or eCommerce business in order to meet sales objectives.
- Distribute/allocate and replenish product to the stores to maximize sales by setting system parameters to achieve sales and inventory objectives
- Generate various reports, including style-selling and sell-through analysis, to assist in meeting sales, inventory, and accuracy objectives
- Organize sales and allocation reporting and assortment grids on a daily basis
- Responsible for creating system generated orders that accurately allocate inventory and meet monthly budget requirements
- Maintain orders in the system and track shipments from the distribution center to ensure timely arrival to stores
- Communicate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate assortment and allocation, and selling success within stores.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for merchandise, stores, and promotional ideas
- Assist in forecasting and analysis to determine future sales and inventory needs
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business, or relevant studies preferred
- Some experience in planning, buying or allocation strongly preferred
- At least 1 year or more of retail experience
- Understanding of retail math, retail vocabulary, and Microsoft Excel formulas to analyze sales and inventory data
- Strong verbal. written communication, and analytical skills are required
- Results in focused, detail oriented skills and takes pride in accuracy
- Self motivated, has the ability to independently organize and resource, and has a strong sense of urgency
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Google Enterprise products
- SAP knowledge preferred
