Medication Technician

Location: Panama City, FL
Schedule: 3pm – 11pm

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our care team. In this important role, you will be responsible for administering medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies, while providing respectful, high-quality support to enhance our residents’ well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications
• Monitor residents for medication side effects and report concerns to nursing staff
• Assist residents with daily living activities as needed
• Maintain proper storage and security of medications
• Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Support residents with compassion, dignity, and professionalism

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Current Medication Technician certification (CMA or similar, per FL state requirements)
• Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
