Full Job Description
Do you have what it takes to support top notch engineering? Jered, a PAR Systems Company, is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will beintegral in building one-of-a-kind products. The Mechanical Engineer supports our design engineering team delivering mission-critical marine systems from inception to completion. The team depends on you as a technical resource for producing calculations, evaluating designs, and troubleshooting manufacturability issues. The Mechanical Engineer contributes directly to creating reliable and efficient equipment that upholds PAR Marine's reputation for quality products and customer satisfaction.

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline
• Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Experience with maintenance or assembly of mechanical systems (preferred)
• Design experience in electrohydraulic or electromechanical systems (preferred)
• EIT (Engineer in Training) Certification (preferred)
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to travel as required (<5%)
