Position Overview:
EMT International, a leading provider of digital finishing solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to perform assembly of key components like Core Shafts, Slitter Holders, and Rotary Punch Modules. This role involves working from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions to build high-quality equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Assemble mechanical parts and equipment according to specifications

• Drill, ream, tap, and adjust components to precise measurements

• Inspect parts for quality and perform mechanical tests

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Train other team members as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly or repair experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Skilled with hand tools and measuring instruments

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Team player with good communication skills

• Flexible to work overtime if needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and safety practices preferred

• Completion of Yellow Dot LOTO training a plus (or ability to complete)
