Overview


The Marketing Operations Manager is pivotal in driving the successful execution of marketing campaigns across channels by managing trafficking workflows, securing timely approvals, ensuring brand and messaging consistency, and maintaining comprehensive campaign documentation for audit readiness. In addition to supporting campaign execution, this role will play a key role in ensuring marketing compliance by maintaining organized records, supporting internal and regulatory audits, and helping to refine processes that mitigate risk. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.


Responsibilities


Customer Communications

o Partner with business lines and project teams to identify and understand customer-impacting changes, service updates, and enhancements.

o Lead the development and execution of integrated customer communication strategies that ensure timely, accurate, and brand-aligned messaging across channels.

Campaign Trafficking & Execution

o Implement and manage a marketing automation platform, including system configuration, user training, campaign execution support, and ongoing optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of marketing efforts.

o Own the end-to-end trafficking of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and offline channels

o Develop and manage detailed campaign timelines and task assignments to ensure on-time delivery

o Coordinate with marketing team, compliance, business line and external agencies to traffic final assets efficiently

o Route campaigns for internal and external approvals, including business, compliance, and marketing sign-off

o Document all feedback and approvals in a structured and auditable format

Data Coordination

o Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the business intelligence data analytics team, including coordination of the data warehouse.

o Collaborate cross-functionally with data, technology, and marketing stakeholders to ensure data supports campaign execution, lead tracking, and performance reporting needs.

o Advocate for marketing data requirements and enable data accessibility and usability for marketing team members through coordinated planning and process alignment.

Launch Readiness & Post-Launch

o Monitor readiness for campaign launch, ensuring all elements are in place (e.g., URLs, creative files, tracking codes, tags)

o Coordinate with analytics and media teams to confirm proper tracking and tagging

o Conduct post-launch checks and reconcile campaign assets with final approved versions

Documentation & Audit Support

o Maintain organized records of all campaign assets and approvals

o Assist with internal and regulatory audits related to marketing campaigns

o Develop and refine processes for efficient documentation and compliance readiness

o Ensure accuracy of all current department procedures




Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is required

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign/project management, or similar roles is required

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience trafficking marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, legal, media, and business teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
  • Comfort with fast-paced, high-volume environments
