ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
* Repair all production equipment and plant equipment.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
* Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of production machinery, and other mechanical systems.
* Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and ensure long-term reliability of equipment.
* Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
* Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
* Assist in installing new machinery or equipment as needed.
* Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
* Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
* Stay current on new technology and best practices related to equipment maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical systems.
* Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. * Knowledge of industrial safety practices and the ability to work safely with equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
