MAINTENANCE REPAIRER
Special Metals Corporation is looking for an experienced millwright for our Dunkirk Facility. Candidate must have the ability to perform the technical duties of the millwright and welding crafts. An advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems is desirable. Duties will include maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems, overhead cranes, gas furnaces, refractory and mechanical drive systems. GMAW, GTAW, SMAW and arc gouging skills are necessary. A High School diploma is required.

STARTING PAY: $33.99/hr

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To inspect, repair, and maintain all plant equipment, including furnaces, presses, and all related equipment inside and outside the plant. Includes Carpenter, Electrician, Milluright, and Welder craft skills.

DUTIES: 1. Receives instructions, prints, sketches, and work orders for jobs.
2. Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains all plant equipment including but not limited to items under "Materials."
3. Fabricates fixtures for plant equipment, working from prints or sketches, using various measuring devices, arc or gas welding equipment, power and hand tools.
4. Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains plant electrical systems, using proper electrical testing instruments, schematics, etc.
5. May install, or aid in installation of new equipment or re-location of present equipment as required.
6. Advises supervision of problem areas, developed during Preventive Maintenance checks.
7. May determine and advise supervisors of material requirements for jobs.
