Job Description:
BASIC / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5+ years of System Administration experience
- Proven ability to work well with internal clients, including development, operations, and QA teams.
- Experience in using ticketing and software tools
- Linux system administration
- Experience with virtualization templates, base images, VMs provisioning and de-provisioning using vSphere.
- VMWare and ESXi technologies.
- SCM systems such as Gitlab, Atlassian Bitbucket.
BENEFICIAL / ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in an MSO environment
- Basic shell scripting, or Python programming
- Basic use of Ansible, Hashicorp Terraform and/or Packer tools
- Experience with security tools such as Crowdstrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Qualys and SNMP
- SSL certificates requisition, procurement, installation, and validation.
- Code coverage tools such as Sonarqube
- Scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Golang, PowerShell or Shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Gitlab
- Experience creating documentation such as how-tos and troubleshooting articles
- Experience with ticket tracking systems – JIRA, Remedy, HP ALM.
- Artifacts repository such as JFrog Artifactory and Nexus
- Configuration management using Ansible or Chef.
- Infrastructure management using Terraform
- Users access management using Active Directory, Atlassian Crowd.
- Logging, monitoring, and Alerting
