We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our exceptional team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the calm and capable presence during the overnight hours, ensuring seamless guest service, balancing the books, and setting the stage for a new day of unforgettable stays. About the Role: Part-Time Night Auditor

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Ashland Hills Hotel during the overnight hours. This position is responsible for reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring that all guest accounts are accurate and up-to-date. The Night Auditor serves as the primary point of contact for guests during the night, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. Additionally, this role involves maintaining the security and safety of the hotel premises while providing exceptional customer service. Ultimately, the Night Auditor contributes to the overall guest experience and operational efficiency of the hotel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Experience with hotel management software.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in guest accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during the night shift.
  • Monitor hotel security and ensure the safety of guests and property.
  • Assist with check-ins and check-outs as needed, providing excellent customer service.

The required skills for this position include strong attention to detail, which is essential for accurately reconciling financial transactions and preparing reports. Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with guests and address their needs promptly.
