JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems throughout the hotel to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, maintain, and repair water, gas, and drainage systems throughout the property
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and plumbing emergencies
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of plumbing infrastructure
Maintain fixtures, water heaters, filtration systems, and irrigation systems
Ensure all work complies with California plumbing codes and hotel standards
Collaborate with engineering team on renovations and system upgrades
Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of plumbing supplies
Respect guest privacy and maintain a clean, professional work environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED required
Valid California State Journeyman Plumber Certification or C-36 Contractor License
Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience, preferably in a hotel or resort
Strong knowledge of California Plumbing Code (CPC)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with energy-efficient and eco-conscious plumbing systems
Flexible schedule, with availability for weekends, holidays, and emergency calls
Strong communication skills and a commitment to guest service
