IBM Case Manager/BAW Developer

Location: fully remote - EST hours

Targeted start date of 4/1 - contract duration is anticipated to be 7+ months with permanent conversion potential

Pay: negotiable based on level of candidate expeirence (weekly pay on W2)

Job Duties

• Day to Day: Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative solutions using Cloud Pak for Business Automation. Resolve technical issues and ensure the seamless operation of existing applications. Follow an agile development approach, including attending daily stand-up calls, planning sessions, and other agile meetings.
• Will be utilizing the BAW functionality
• This person needs experience developing in BAW
• Need to be a seasoned developer
• Deals with employee data and people services
• this is an agile team, follow some of the standard agile practices
• 80% hands on development, 20% strategic (providing team development, etc)
• They were using IBM case manager until mid-last year and they moved to BAW last year
• The migration is pretty much completed, and it has been put in place partially
• The person they want needs to be someone who does not have to ramp up much on BAW
• If someone has any expertise developing case management solutions in BAW platform that is what they are looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidates MUST be USC due to Federal Hiring requirements
• Bachelors Degree is preferred - could supplement additional years of experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience
• Experience with IBM Case Manager, IBM BPM/BAW-based solution development
• Proficiency in Web Services (REST and SOAP), J2EE, JMS, XML, Dojo, Case Manager widget development and customization, deep understanding of FileNet APIs, IBM Content Navigator plug in Development
• Integrate IBM Case Manager/BAW with existing systems and third party applications

Nice to Haves:

• experience in articulating deployment methods available for the software. ex. containerized vs non-containerized
• experience in functional business capabilities of each of the CP4BA Components (Case, BMP, Datacap, ADS, Process Mining, Business Automation Application)
• Understanding of Business Automation Application and Workflow Application deployment process
