HYDROLOGIST I - II - III DIVISION OF ENGINEERING & WATER RESOURCES (DEWR) COMPLEX RONAN, MT NATURAL RESOURCES DEPARTMENT The Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes are searching for a Hydrologist to join our collaborative team. The successful applicant must have a Masters of Science or Bachelors of Science degree in the field of hydrologic sciences, engineering, agricultural sciences, soil science, or a closely related physical science field with emphasis on surface or groundwater hydrology. Education and experience must demonstrate analytical and quantitative aptitude. Levels include: Hydrologist I - Bachelors of Science with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional-level experience; Hydrologist II - Masters of Science or Bachelors of Science with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional-level experience; Hydrologist III - Masters of Science with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional-level experience. Must have considerable knowledge in surface water hydrology, groundwater hydrology, and practical applications in data collection and management, along with an understanding of irrigation practices and on-farm agricultural practices. Ability to take mathematical principles and apply them to water resources problems is required. Must have a valid drivers license.
