HR Generalist I - Talent Acquisition

What You'll Do:
As an HR Generalist I in Talent Acquisition, you'll be a trusted partner to hiring managers across the City. You'll guide them through the recruitment and selection process, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and compliance every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of City departments.
- Ensure interview and selection processes comply with City policy and employment laws.
- Provide policy interpretation and guidance to hiring supervisors.
- Advise on recruitment methods and sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of applicants.
- Post and manage job advertisements using the applicant tracking system.
- Screen applications and assist with candidate evaluations.
- Support interview scheduling, offer letters, and new hire onboarding.
- Participate in job fairs and outreach efforts to build talent pipelines.
