POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Analyst provides HRIS support and assists the Executive Director of Human Resources. This professional will be responsible for report writing, data analysis, researching and resolving HRIS problems, and ensuring data integrity. The Human Resources Analyst also supports upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. This professional also provides support for all University Health compensation plans. Administers the position control system, processes position modifications, opens new positions, and monitors position requests to ensure timely processing. Assists in the completion of compensation projects and resolves compensation related issues promptly. Assists in the maintenance of job descriptions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. Three years of HRIS or HR generalist or specialist experience preferred. Three years of recent progressive experience in compensation preferred. PeopleSoft experience is preferred. Strong understanding of Human Resources processes, HRIS database design, structure, functions, and experience with database tools. Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects.
