Grant Martin Campaigns is hiring campaign managers for 2025 (November) Houston races and 2026 (March primary and November general) Houston and Harris County races. Local experience a plus.
These are good opportunities for someone with field management experience to move up into a campaign manager position. You will be working with a hands-on general consultant as well as the region's leading Democratic fundraising firm - so these campaigns will have resources.
The campaign manager will report to the general consultant (and ultimately to the candidate). The ideal employee is ambitious, hardworking, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Experience
- The ideal candidate will have at least one cycle of senior campaign staff experience as a campaign manager or field director.
- Required: No drama. There will be plenty of drama and negativity supplied by our opponents - we don't need any inside the campaign.
- The manager will be responsible for executing (and helping develop) the campaign plan, overseeing budgets, working with the candidate and consultants to drive the campaign forward, determining the candidate's schedule and hiring and managing staff, interns and volunteers.
- Managers may be the only staffer at first, and will wear multiple hats.
- Managers need the confidence to be the face of the campaign to major donors, community leaders, and, in some cases, the press.
- These are full-time jobs with long hours. Salaries are commensurate with experience.
- To Apply: Apply by sending cover letter, resume and references to gmcpolitics@gmail.com.
