We are seeking a strategic and experienced Program Operations Associate Director to join our Patient Services Program (PSP) Operations team at argenx. This is a brand new position and will support both pre-launch program development initiatives as well as post-launch program transitions and standard operations. This will include working extensively across multiple functional areas, agencies and vendors to establish and evolve patient services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Program Development and Implementation
Design and deliver patient support programs that align with PSP goals and patient needs
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify gaps in patient support and develop innovative solutions
Plan and facilitate recurring team meetings to discuss and align on various program needs
Create and maintain program plans and milestone tracking to align expectations and deliver on time
Develop program policies, SOPs, and supplemental materials to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage and improve quality standards of program correspondence, resources and materials associated with the program. Represents team at review committee focused on program operations, as needed
Lead content and deliverable development to support workstream execution and ensure milestones are reached
Operational Management
Assess program operations to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and business rule considerations
Establish and maintain program reports to provide visibility into program and vendor performance
Develop various program update content for leadership and cross-functional awareness and transparency
Support case management by reviewing with our partners to discuss status, address bottlenecks and ensure proper workflow is followed
Facilitate timely resolution of patient inquiries and issues by coordinating with relevant internal partners and vendors
Stakeholder Collaboration
Lead cross-functional efforts required to build sustainable solutions and establish efficient ways of working
Serve as a business liaison between PSP functions and other cross-functional partners to ensure program alignment and transparency
Work closely with Legal and Compliance functions to ensure program materials are compliant with laws and regulations, as well as business expectations
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and advanced degree (MBA) preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, healthcare program management, or consulting organization with a focus on patient support services, preferably in the life sciences sector
Proven track record in leading strategy and operations for multiple support programs
Outstanding interpersonal skills: Build strong working relationships and manage conflict
Strong organizational skills: Ability to adapt to change in a high-energy and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication to effectively convey information across levels
Project management skills: Experience working independently and highly detail oriented when developing, executing, and monitoring project plans to meet deadlines
Analytical skills: Ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making
Strategic thinking: Ability to identify opportunities and develop a plan to address challenges
Cross-functional collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration
Discretion and confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
